Well, I once heard it said that novels where beer and short stories where like wine! I'd like to write genuine short stories but I don't always succeed as I always think of more to write and am tempted to write it too much!

On the risk of been shot, I have to say that I think the discworld series has been running out of steam a little in the last few years. I don't mind the Tiffany Aching stories, but I'm getting a bit tired of reading about the Ankh-Morpork police service and Vimes all the time. I'm actually beginning to seriously dislike Vimes! I mean, is Prachett some kind of frustrated policeman?
